I found a cheat for download. Cheaper towers, god mode, and many silver.I understand now, how some people get the top online ranking on first place with over a million points.I hate this.
I work very hard for every little bonus point. I watched videos on youtube for maps, where i was not able to beat a boss or the creeps ran trough my defense in seconds. I played the same maps again and again to get a new card or some silver for leveling my collected towers and magic spells.There is just another super gamer with such a big score.Please delete him. Thanks.It should be a honor to become a member of a worldwide online ranking highscore, so why do some people think it is a trophy for the best hacker and cracker???What do you think about this problem? Some maps could be diffiicult only if you don't have certain cards.
Somewhat what I still don't like (excluding a way too random random drop, and rather unrewarding rewarding systems:)) is that your (ok, mine) success was (probably still is) tied to Dragon and Sun towers much. Without one of them I couldn't finish final missions, no matter which combos I used (of those cards I had). With them, and with all original deck, even two survival maps on Heroic aren't that difficult (and no new cards required). Unless you use Lightning tower and it gives enemies revogirating jolt (instead of short-time paralyze):).Moreover, Dragon tower is so important, so I couldn't even earn some achievements/3 stars ratings in earlier missions without it.Of course it could mean I'm only not that good gamer, who, despite his occupation, is unable to calculate proper towers' placement for maxed DPS per prime ratio properly.;)But go try ask developers, maybe you'll got lucky and receive their reply. Good points, but don't forget games broken to such degree, so even using your brain will give you nothing (by the way, were you able to complete final missions in PW:D without Dragon or Sun towers?). Broken script, poorly though-over design, leading to complete halt in progress - just to name a few. You can wait till these issues are going to be fixed by developers, or, remembering Gothic 3, community, but not necessarily they'll be able to do that.For example, in TES IV: Oblivion how you propose to buy house in Skingrad, if that orc from whom you supposed to purchase that house is gone?

Moreover, because of famous bethesda's coding, even after this quest line is finished, you can't wipe out remnants of lost faction - their commanders are invincible and can pose if not threat, then at least nuisanse. Or how do you like naturally unprovoked aggression from yarls and their retinue or some other NPCs? You had good standing with them, then, out of blue, they attack you on sight. 'Hey, Balgruf, WTF, you sent me for stone tablet, why are you attacking me?'

You could do that in Gothic 3, even if G3 had a pile of bugs of her own.In any bethesda's game you could stuck in geometry (and not because you trained your acrobatics too high). When such thing happened in mass defekt game, you could load earlier save because there were plenty of those, even though there is desire to sent person who placed checkpoints to Alaska to clean up all of the snow (yeah-yeah, Earth on Insanity). But in bethesda's games you could be strolling through countryside and your previous save could've been made hours ago.Or took X-Rebirth I've mentioned.

There is no hint telling you you supposed to build your station to stage 2 to progress campaign further, but that's not important. What's important - there was (maybe still is) bug, that ruined trading. So you can't send your ships to purchase resources required to build the station. Your own ship no longer can be used as freighter, and there is no way to lure AI-traders to your stations, not only because their trading is broken too, but simply because sector where you have to build that station, has no resources. What could we do?
Ah, I know - build whole production chain, from mining to manufacturing of all resources needed, right? Mining doesn't work either, you don't have enough money to build that amount of stations, because trading doesn't work, missions give you 20-40K and stations requires millions, you can't board&sell ships, because shipyards no longer pay you, even if they take away ship you sold them, and you can't safely deliver ship to another shipyard, because you just damaged it while your marines were boarding it, ship got stuck when you try to repair it, and there is no combat AI for your ship that would protect it from enemies' attack along the way. Yet they still try to attack enemy stations in much smaller ships fasion - only without opening fire. Since they big and slow, stations defence has zero problems destroying them. I can't imbed Joker's clapping image, but it should be here.As we've been told in the army, sometimes the only way you can use your head is just to ram something. So my opinion is simple: if game is well designed, programmed and tested, there is no need to cheat, because learning, entertaining, and challenging curves are well made. And you were losing in games like Space Rangers (old ones), Galactic Civilizations, Endless Space or Frozen Synapse it's because either you bit off more than you could chew, or because you did something wrong, or simply because you decided to gamble and lost, not because games are buggy or openly cheating on you.
Just to let you know, I had no idea this game had an online leaderboard. My internet connection is ALWAYS ON, and I thought I'd have some fun messing with the game with a trainer. Suddenly, I get a tirade of abuse from some ♥♥♥♥ claiming that I've 'hacked the server'. I've removed my score, and now know not to mess with this game. Thank f.cking god there's a RESET PROFILE button.A word of advice to everyone out there that feels like messing with this 'single player' game.Don't. Your score will go up on the leaderboard, and some of this game's steam community will come down on you harder than a hooker on happy hour.
Sorry, i am not good in speaking english language. I understand that you want to play this game with a trainer because you cannot wait until you get the best and powerful cards to let you win the level to reach next round. No one can expect that everyone has the same abilities in evrey game he woult like to play.
For example, i am very bad in playing jump and run games. Every games should have several game-modes like easy, midlle and hard. Jump and runs dont have this, so i cannot play them. I tried Mario - i died at the first monster (my brother has seen this and he couldnt stop laughing.). In this game you have to try to get the better cards and level them up.
Maybe you have to do some or many times the sidequest maps in easy, middle or hard to get them. But you can get them and you will win the maps without the need of any trainers. If you have problems, ask for help, everyone will try to help ya. Youtube has videos. I can understand that you did not know that your score goes up to the online leaderboard. But i hope you can understand us that we dont want many 'cheaters' there on the highest rankings.
This is very hard work to get there. And when you completed the campaign it is a option not to deinstall the game, but trying to climb the ladder up to the first side in online statistik. It made a lot of fun, of course with a user in your friendlist, to see who will get a better rank and where he is able to get more points. Anyone understand my english? I can write in better german.:-)).
