This is a 12v dual speed(1600/3200 RPM) CCW(counter-clockwise aka anti-clockwise) motor. This is suitable for most Tascam multitrack cassette recorders with 2 tape speeds and a bottom mount capstan setup. Such as those listed in the title, as well as the MidiStudio 644& 688 models.

I am reasonably sure these motors are appropriate for those particular Tascam units, but-PLEASE- verify that your old capstan motor matches this model number before purchasing! Also, the motor has no mounting screws, nor a wheel(rotor) on the shaft, so make sure you salvage those from your old motor, or have other suitable parts. These motors are quite hard to get these days.

So get them while you can. As far as I can tell, this has not actually been used, but these motors are so old that I am listing it as used. It's very likely NOS, but no promises. Info: Due to the dual speed nature of this motor. It has 4 leads, +,A, and B.

The Mabuchi runs at 1600/3200 RPM which is different from some otherwise very similar dual speed cassette motors, such as the Sankyo SHU2L.
